  • Fairytales Cinderella purslane. I want to purchase this and need to find a supplier.. Would that be you? and where might I drive to pick up this plant as I need a several flats. Please email me ASAP. Can I special order and arrange to meet your truck somewhere as I am sure I have seen your truck in Russellville, or else could you deliver my order to a business locally. I would much rather pick up my order personally at your nursery, as there are several plants that I am interesting in purchasing. thanks, eager to hear from you..

Thanks for contacting us Donna. Someone will be in contact with you soon regarding your request. The Cinderella Purslane will be ready in a few weeks, closer to the end of April.

If you only need a few flats, it would probably be best if you were to come pick them up. We require large orders for delivery.

      Thanks again for contacting us.

Thanks for visiting our website and contacting us. I’m sorry but we discontinued growing these for 2012. The sales were not enough to keep them in our line up.

    Best regards,

  • Is this type of purslane edible?

    • jason:

Thank you for visiting our website. My understanding is that all types of purslane are edible. However, I have not seen any specific information about this variety of purslane so I cannot say for sure. I have to caution you not to eat it or proceed at your own risk. Sorry that I couldn’t be of more help.

I have a large pot of Fairytale Cinderella on my patio. Can I bring it in for the winter?

    • jason:

      Hello Janice,

I have not tried to over-winter purslane. It is worth a shot. Since purslane is a type of succulent it has a chance of surviving, but as a heat loving plant, it may struggle some. If you try it, I suggest placing it in a south facing window slightly away from the glass and any drafts. Be sure to keep it away from vents and make sure not to over water it. Other than that, I can’t think of any more advice.

Being “bedding” plants, these and most everything else we grow are not suited to indoor living and typically do not do well or die. However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. Just be sure to keep a close eye on your Cinderella Purslane.
