Madness Petunias have trumpet-shaped flowers that are 2-3 inches across. They come in a wide variety of bright colors and may be solid in color or edged, striped, veined or starred with a contrasting color. Madness Petunias have good branching and are covered in an abundance of blooms from spring through fall.

They are popular for their fragrant blooms and colors which attract pollinators. Petunias do well from early spring until late fall. In the fall, Petunias are excellent plants to fill in if you have to replace any summer plants in early September when it is still too warm for Pansies. Petunias are able to handle the warmer weather of late summer/early fall and the cooler weather of mid to late fall. They will survive light frosts, but the blooms will probably get some frost damage. A hard frost will kill most varieties of petunias.

They are easy to grow and do well in a wide variety of soils. Petunias can an be pinched after the initial flowering to maintain bushiness and promote new flower growth, or they can be left to grow naturally.

Plant Madness Petunias as a border in a flower bed or edge along a sidewalk. They can be used in all garden applications from mass plantings to containers and hanging baskets. Petunias have been a long-time favorite of gardeners.

Plant in full sun to part sun 6-8” apart. Grows 10-15″ tall and 10-12″ wide.

We grow Madness Petunias in our J6 (606) Annuals size and carry Merlot Mix, Orchid and Summer (below left to right).
