Rising Sun Coreopsis is naturally compact and has semi-double yellow flowers with a red fleck center. This bright and bold Coreopsis is a great first year flowering perennial.

Coreopsis are native to the Americas, the tropical parts of Africa and Hawaii.  They are often seen growing in fields and along the roadside.  Rising Sun Coreopsis get their nickname “Tickseed” because their seeds look like ticks.
