1 gal stella daylily I have zeroed out most of the inventory since the numbers were wrong and it is too hot to go count it all.

But we are going to keep watering some of the baskets, begonias and other items that are good for landscaping. So if you need something, give us a call and we can check to see if we have it or not. Most likely we will quit watering everything sometime next week. You have a few more days to wrap up those last minute orders that might come in.

Savona Red We are planting our mums in the field next week. We have about the same about scheduled as we did last year. We are taking orders for our mums and pansies if you want to pre-book. If you need a lot of one color of either, we highly recommend pre-booking it to make sure you get it.

We are also taking orders for poinsettia if you are ready to get that wrapped up. Again we are doing about the same amounts we did last year.

There are not any big changes or additions to either programs for this year. I hope your summer of off to a good start, and I will get back to posting regularly soon.

Just wanted to give you a quick update. We do have some inventory left. However, the numbers in the current and future availability are not accurate. We have been cleaning out and closing down houses faster than I can count the plants so what’s in inventory is my best guess on a lot of items. Sorry it is not more accurate.

We will have most of the items that are shown available so if you need something go ahead and call or fax in your order. Then the sales team will have to go out and make sure we have every thing you need. You might need to remind your sales rep that they will need to verify that we have what you need on hand. Just to make sure.

With some exceptions I expect that we will stop watering a lot of our inventory by the end of next week or sooner so be sure to stock up or grab what you need sooner rather than later.

My apologies for the short post and lack of more recent updates. I have been busy getting ready to go to the Mid-South Nursery Conference next week There is still time to register. Hope to see you there.

At the conference, I will be tweeting via our @Parksbrothers twitter account and/or posting pics via my Instagram account @jason_parks_brothers_farm if you want to keep up with what’s going on.

Talk to you all when I get back. Stay cool.

fresh look celosia We are trudging along. Everything slowed down this week. Most people think it is because it’s been too wet. It certainly has not been too hot.

We are working on selling through the remainder of our inventory. We have been taking items off the list as they cycle out of bloom or if they start looking bad. We have also been cleaning up product and picking blooms to keep it looking good. Our availability hasn’t changed much from last week except that we have been taking anything that looks rough off the list. One caveat I do have is that some of the availability numbers are probably off by at least a few units due to this. I have not been getting good enough reporting on what they have been tossing to keep the numbers 100% accurate.

Last today, I want to thank all of you, our customers, for your loyalty and for allowing us to continue to work with you for another spring. It was a very challenging year, but we were able to make it through. We hope that you were able to do the same. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make any part of what we do for you easier or more helpful. We want to make working with us the best part about spring. Thanks again!
