Started out with a cool, foggy morning this morning, but it changed into a beautiful day.

MUM UPDATE: At the bottom of this post are a couple of pictures of our 8″ mums. We have a lot of buds that are very close to opening so while the are listed on our Current Availability (link on right of this page), we have a few that are starting to show a little color in their buds.

As you can see from  the pictures below our pansies and other fall plants are looking great.

We blew through this week’s planting of J6 pansies by noon yesterday. We have some of the next crop that is ready and have been entered into the system. Check out the new availability by clicking on the Current Availability link in the menu box to the right over there ——->>>

You can see some of the next crop in the picture below.

The pansies in the forefront are our first crop of #4 pansies. The ones behind them are our next crop J6 pansies.

It’s also a nice sunny morning here today after a weekend of much needed rain.

The new availability is now posted.

The pictures below are of the last of our first crop of pansies. We will be into the next crop early next week. To start out the week most will have Light Color to Color and progress to Good Color by the end of the week. Petunias have Good Color as well. The next crops of J6 and #4 Petunias might be ready by the end of next week. We have some snaps still available. Once we run through those, we will be temporarily out until the next crops get ready. The next crop of J6 Dianthus will be ready the middle of next week.

Skip to below the pictures for the mum update.

Mums

We are still behind on getting color out on our mums. We have a few early varieties cracking a little color but not enough to guarantee that you will get some. All the mums are listed as Buds on our availability for next week. We are picking out the best of what we have that have the biggest buds. There are still going to be wide variances in size among the colors and varieties. At the rate the mums are coming on and based on the orders we have to fill, I do not expect to have any significant availability of mums cracking some color until October. As always, please let your rep know if you have any questions.

Hello everyone,

We are enjoying this weather almost as much as the mums and pansies are. Things have been nice and calm here. We shipped out our first shipments this week. Worked through a couple of kinks in the pulling process and have that ironed out now before we get too busy. It’s getting dry again and some people we have talked to are worried about the lack of rain affecting sales. What about you? Do you think that we will see a slower fall season if we don’t get enough rain or get it soon enough?

How is fall starting for you? Are you ready?

The availability is accessible by clicking on Current Availability in the menu to the right.

Here is what our first crop of pansies and fall annuals look like this week:

Here are some pictures too:

calibrachoas  petunias-J6

kale  dianthus

As you can see in these pictures below we are dealing with some size discrepancies among the various colors and varieties. We will do our be to get you the best of what we have available when we ship.
