Description: Sedum is an ever-popular ground cover, especially in rock gardens. Shapes, sizes and colors vary. Fireglow is improved from Dragon’s Blood. It holds it’s bronze-red color all season long and flowers with clusters of starry, rose colored blooms. It blooms late summer to early fall and fills in quickly in the garden. Ground covers are great for holding down weed problems and in some cases, can be used as a substitute for mulching. Sedum are always showy in the rock garden and look great cascading down rock walls or over the side of planters. Most sedum root where they grow but are not usually invasive. If you want more in another location, pop off a runner and place it in the desired location. It should root easily and flourish with adequate watering.
Spacing: Plant 12″ to 23″ apart.
Height: Grows 3″ to 5″ tall.
How To Grow: Plant in full sun.
Outstanding Features: Attracts butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant.
Tips: Drought tolerant. Average water needs but do not over water.
