Blue Spruce Sedum has blue leaves that mimic the needles of the Blue Spruce tree which is where it gets the name. Clusters of yellow blooms sprout up above the foliage in early summer. Since they are so tolerant of the heat and drought they do well around hot surfaces such as a rock border or hot driveway. It is fast growing. Even the most neglectful of gardners will be able to have a nice landscape or mixed container with this tough plant.
