Description: If you are looking for flowering sage, then Salvia is what you want. There are many types. Salvia Caradonna has tall, dark purple stems topped by blue-violet flowers. The stems are unique and stand out against the green foliage. They flower from late spring to early fall and if you cut them back after they bloom, it will help keep the foliage looking neat and tidy all winter long.
