Sante Leucanthemum is a double bloom type of Shasta Daisy that has the wild appearance of a sea anemone. The fine blooms are pure white with a yellow button center on dense green foliage that stays close to the ground. To promote re-blooming, either wait and remove the old blooms or cut a few for your table. Shasta Daisies make great cut flowers. There are many different varieties ranging from single bloom to double bloom to chose from.
Sante blooms from early summer until the first frost of fall. Deer and rabbits find these unpalatable and tend to stay away.
