Description: Japanese Painted Fern adds pizzazz to any garden with fronds that have a blue-green center that fades to silver variegation on the edges. Because of its small size, Japanese Painted does well in foreground plantings and in containers.

Spacing: Plant 18″ to 24” apart.

Height: Grows 18″ to 24” tall.

How To Grow: Plant in part sun to full shade.

Outstanding Features: Silvery fronds dramatically stand out against the green foliage of other plants in the garden.

Tips: Prefers moist to wet soils.
