Diamonds Blue Delphinium (larkspur) is a dwarf compact Delphinium that forms a low bushy mound. Electric blue flowers open in a spray of color above the delicate looking green foliage. Each petal is dotted with a lavender spot at the point. This variety produces an abundance of flowers over the season and isn’t known to have any major disease or insect problems. Heat and humidity are not a problem either. The deer tend to leave delphinium alone for tastier treats. In locations where Diamonds Blue Delphinium is happy it may self-seed.
