Description: Better known as Butterfly Bush, Buddleia has fragrant cone-shaped blooms on arching branches. They attract many nectar-loving creatures other than it’s namesake.
Spacing: Plant 48″ to 72″ apart.
Height: Grows 48″ to 60″ tall.
How To Grow: Plant in full sun to part shade.
Outstanding Features: Remove spent flower heads to promote new blooming and prune hard in early spring. Blooms will be larger on new wood.
Tips: Thrives in fairly dry conditions so do not over water. Consistently wet soil can cause root rot.
