Description: Wooly Purple lavender is just that, silvery foliage with a fuzzy texture. The leaves are narrow and long and they grow in a nice mound. The purple blooms open on long stems and have a menthol smell when crushed. This variety comes from the rocky slopes of Spain and is also known as Spanish Mountain Lavender.
Spacing: Plant 36″to 40″ apart.
Height: Grows 36″ tall.
How To Grow: Plant in full sun.
Outstanding Features: The tiny hairs on Lavender Wooly Purple trap moisture around the leaf which helps the plant to survive in dry conditions.
Tips: Wooly Lavender doesn’t like wet, humid conditions so keep it on the dry side and water at the base if watering at night.
