Description: Tidal Wave Petunias feature an outstanding, shrub-like shape that holds its form all season. The plants first grow outward, then up, and finally in both directions to form a super-full shape. Look for additional height compared to other Wave Petunias plus a great habit all season long. Low maintenance and excellent weather tolerance make them well-suited for landscapes and large containers. Tidal Wave plants grow according to how you space them. Spaced 12″ apart in the garden, Tidal Wave forms a dense, mounded hedge 16″ to 22″ tall. The stiff stems help to maintain this habit through the season. Put Tidal Wave in a restricted space with additional support such as a chain link fence or bush, and these eye-catching petunias will grow an extra 2′ to 3′ upward like a vine! Spaced a little more loosely (about 18″) in the garden, Tidal Wave petunias perform more like a groundcover, growing just 8 to 10 inches tall and spreading up to 3′ per plant.
