Description: Osteospermum have large, colorful, daisy-like blooms. The Summertime variety are heat tolerant with a very nice mounding habit and natural branching where blooms are abundant. Red Velvet is a deep purple-red color on green foliage. Osteospermum blooms will close every evening, and open up again in early morning. Regular deadheading will encourage new blooms, and a light summer pruning may result in a fall flush of blooms after the weather cools off.
Spacing: Plant 12″ to 14″ apart.
Height: Grows 10″ to 18″ tall.
