Easter Ornamental PepperNuMex Easter Ornamental Peppers form clusters of 4-6 peppers above the dark green foliage. The Easter reference comes from the pastel colors of the peppers. They range from lavender to yellow to cream, orange and red.

NuMex Easter will bear peppers all through the growing season providing your garden with a gorgeous blend of colors as it develops. This variety was chosen as an All-America Selections winner for 2014. This is the first winner for the Chili Pepper Institute at New Mexico State University.

Ornamental Peppers produce an abundant amount of colorful peppers on compact plants. Most are edible but consume with caution, some varieties are extremely hot!  Most of the time ornamental peppers are lacking in flavor compared to garden varieties.  The variety of colors, sizes and shapes make them great as accent plants.  Try them in mass plantings for an exciting show!
