Serenita Raspberry Angelonia has masses of dark rose, orchid-like flowers that grow in spikes. They are about 2-3 inches shorter than the Serena series which makes the blooms appear larger and closer together creating a more colorful bloom spike. The show begins in late spring and continues through to the first of fall.
Though they look dainty and delicate, Angelonia can withstand heat and humidity and short periods of drought. Serenita Angelonia, as well as other varieties of Angelonia, is stunning in garden beds, patio planters and mixed containers and also makes a nice cut flower. Deer and rabbits tend to avoid snacking on these beauties but butterflies and hummingbirds love to visit.
