Party Time Alternanthera, also known as Joseph’s Coat, is one of the many varieties in this species. The green foliage is splashed with bright pink in random patterns. Joseph’s Coat is a tropical plant that will thrive in the heat of summer, but is not frost or cold tolerant. Pair with caladiums, impatiens or begonias to brighten up your shady garden locations. Just like those plants, Party Time can take morning sun but likes afternoon shade and protection from the hot summer sun. Keep the soil moist but not too soggy and they will thrive.
