Jurassic Watermelon Rex Begonias have dark brown ruffled outer edges, a green inner margin that is speckled with silver, a central band of rosy-red and a dark brown center. The name Jurassic Rex invokes images of large-leaved plants that might have been eaten or trampled by dinosaurs and is appropriate for this series of begonias. The unusual colors, shapes and textures can bring something unique to the landscape. Depending on the variety, the leaves can reach 5-9 inches on this mounding plant.
