Sunflower

Ballad Sunflower (Helianthus) is a dwarf sunflower that produces well-formed, bright golden-yellow flowers with dark centers over shiny green foliage. The 4-5 inch blooms are pollen-free which makes this plant great for people with allergies. Another benefit is that they make great gifts or indoor plants. Given warm enough conditions and a bright area, Ballad can bloom year round. Outdoors, this sunflower can brighten up your porch, patio or landscape. The height of this plant is determined by the length of the day.  Shorter days make for shorter plants and during longer days they can get up to 30 inches tall (without growth regulators).

Helianthus sunflowers are my favorite but I can’t seem to find any seeds or plants up here in Duluth, MN. I had a beautiful plant last year and wish I would have harvested the seeds. Do you have any recommendations as to where I can find seeds for these plants for next year?
    Thank you for your time!
