Illustris Colocasia

Illustris Colocasia has green stems going up to mostly black leaves that are mottled black and green around the edges. They add more interest to plantings than a plain green specimen. Colocasia, also know as taro, are a type of elephant ear. They produce clumps of large, long-stalked, heart-shaped leaves and reproduce via tubers or rhizomes. These can be easily divided and re-potted or planted to expand your enjoyment or share with friends. These tropical plants work well in a pot as well as in a water feature or boggy area.
