Begonia

Dragon Wing Begonia is a begonia on steroids. Popular due to its large blooms and solid glossy, green, wing-shaped leaves.  They are heat tolerant and vigorous with a denser habit than other begonias.  Deep pink or red blooms start in late spring or early summer and continue through the first frost of fall.  In southern areas it is best to plant them where they can get shade from the hot afternoon sun.  Though they can tolerate dry conditions, Dragon Wing prefer moist, well-drained soil.
