Description: Calibrachoas look very similar to miniature Petunias, but it’s not quite a Petunia. Calibrachoas are vigorous, fast growing annuals that feature hundreds of vividly colored small Petunia like flowers that bloom prolifically from spring to first frost. Unlike regular Petunias, Calibrachoa is self cleaning, meaning that the plants shed their spent flowers and replace them with new ones. In late summer and early fall, calibrachoas will continue to perform. Calibrachoas perform better in the spring and fall and have a tendency to struggle in extreme hot temperatures. They can also withstand a frost and are hardy to approximately 28 degrees.
Recommended Spacing: Plant 8″ to 10″ apart.
Height: Grows 4” to 6” tall.
How to Grow: Plant in full sun.
Outstanding Features: Calibrachoas come in a wide range of bright colors.
Tips: Shady areas will cause the plants to “stretch” as well as dramatically reducing the flower count.
